How long does it take Speedway Entertainment to set up the track?Complete set-up of the track usually takes about two hours to complete. Track tear-down can usually be accomplished in one hour.
What kind of turnover can be expected?
Approximately 100 -120 racers per hour. These numbers are based on 2 minute races, which we have found to be the optimal race length.

Do we need to help you setup the track or run the races?
No. Speedway Entertainment handles all aspects of setting up the track, running the races, and tearing down the track after the event. However, if a tournament is being conducted, it is sometimes easier for the client to have some of their own people keeping track of the racers so that the pit crew can focus on running the races and keeping up with car maintenance.
What are the space requirements?
For indoor locations, a 20' x 30' area is the minimum required space for our standard track. If it is an outdoor event and we are to provide our inflatable Race Dome, a 34' x 34' space with 18' of height clearance would be required
What are the electrical requirements?
Inside we require at least two standard 110 volt 20 amp outlets. Outdoors, when setting up with our Race Dome, we need at least three 20 amp outlets on at least two separate circuits. Outlets need to be within fifty feet of set-up area. With notice, and understanding the noise a generator makes, we can supply a generator for an additional fee.
What type of surface is need for set-up?
Speedway Entertainment can set up on most any surface whether it be grass, asphalt, concrete, etc. Surface needs to be fairly level, but more importantly flat.
What are the payment terms?
A deposit of 50% of any applicable fees is required to secure your date, with the balance due on the day of the event. Should event be cancelled, written notice must be received at least thirty days prior to scheduled date to receive a refund of deposit.
What if I need to reschedule?
If the event needs to be rescheduled, a $100 rescheduling fee may be applied to the balance due. If the event is rescheduled after Speedway Entertainment arrives at the location of the event, a mileage fee will be applied to the balance due of $1.50 per mile roundtrip, along with the $100 rescheduling fee. Speedway Entertainment cannot be held responsible if they are not available on the requested rescheduled date. In this instance, the deposit will be applied as a credit toward a future event, minus the $100 rescheduling fee and any applicable mileage fees.
Can we customize the cars?
Absolutely. Custom car bodies can be designed to give you further exposure on the track. After the event, the car body is yours to keep. Many clients are thrilled to see a car with their logo and colors out on the racetrack. Please contact us for pricing information.
How far in advance do I have to schedule you?
There is no specific amount of time that we need, we've been contracted as long as a year in advance and as short as 3 days in advance. However the sooner you commit, the less likely it is that we will be hired by another client. If you are interested in having custom car bodies designed for your event, we typically will need anywhere from 2-4 weeks to have them made up, depending on quantity and complexity.
How far do you travel?
As the slogan says..."You name the place, we'll bring the race!" We will operate anywhere in the country. We are based in Arkansas but often do parties in Missouri and the Memphis area.
